Turn Trash into Treasure. Recycle Plastic into Filament—Right Here.

We have something most makerspaces don’t: a complete in-house plastic recycling system. Our Sustainable Design Studio (SDS) setup lets you take failed prints, support material, bottle caps, and other plastic waste and transform it into high-quality 1.75mm 3D printer filament—all in one place.

This is not just recycling. This is alchemy. It is taking what the system calls “waste” and turning it into valuable material for your next creation. And it is easier than you think.

How it Works

Shred It

Feed your plastic waste into the SDS Desktop Shredder V2. It chews up bottle caps, failed prints, and small plastic items into consistent flakes.

Extrude It

Load the flakes into the SDS Filament Maker. It heats, melts, and extrudes the plastic into 1.75mm filament—the exact size used by most 3D printers.

Print It

Spool up your homemade filament and 3D print something new. Close the loop.
